Salon Policies.

Clear salon policies help Nicole provide each client with the appropriate time and attention during their scheduled appointment.

• Booking & Deposits
  Appointments require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The deposit is applied toward the scheduled service.
  
  Clients who need to reschedule should provide at least 48 hours' notice. With proper notice, the deposit may be transferred to one future appointment. No-shows and cancellations without sufficient notice will result in the loss of the deposit and may require full payment before a future appointment can be booked.

• Late Arrivals
  Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule based on the time remaining.
  
  Late cancellations may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service. No-shows may be charged 100% of the service cost.
  
  No Call + No Show = No Rebooking

• Preparing Your Hair for Your Appointment
  Please arrive with your hair thoroughly detangled from roots to ends.
  
  Hair that is excessively tangled, matted, or compacted may require a Detangling Service and additional fees. In some cases, the appointment may need to be rescheduled if the additional time would interfere with later appointments.
  
  Proper preparation allows Nicole to devote the scheduled appointment time to your selected hair care and styling services.

• Guest Policy
  Nicole Natural Styles Salon maintains a private, peaceful salon environment. Please do not bring additional guests or children unless they are receiving a scheduled service.
  
  
• Color Services
  Permanent hair color services require an in-person consultation before scheduling.
  
  During the consultation, Nicole evaluates the health, elasticity, and porosity of the hair along with previous chemical services and its overall suitability for color. This assessment helps determine an appropriate approach while protecting the condition and integrity of the hair.
  
  
• Appointment Preparation
  Hair must be completely detangled and combed through from roots to ends before the appointment unless the booked service specifically states otherwise. Excessively tangled or matted hair may result in cancellation or require a different service if time permits.
  
  
• Children
  Services are available for clients ages 10 and older only. Children must be able to comfortably and safely tolerate the shampoo, drying, heat, and styling process.
  
  
• Guests
  To maintain a peaceful, private, and relaxing salon-suite environment, please do not bring children, friends, or additional guests who are not receiving a service.
  
  
• Timing
  Natural-hair services require proper time and care. Clients should allow adequate time for their appointment and avoid scheduling other commitments too closely afterward. Service times are estimates and may vary depending on hair length, density, condition, and the service being performed.
  
  
• Color Services
  A consultation is required before booking a color service. Hair must be assessed for condition, porosity, and elasticity to determine whether the desired color can be achieved safely. Color services and styling services are priced separately unless otherwise stated.
  
  
• Chemical Services
  Relaxer and keratin/smoothing services are performed following professional application protocols with the health and integrity of the hair as the priority. Previous chemical history must be disclosed before service.
